So, I made a Christmas video card with my six-year-old son for fun. This is the "Santa-Nator," his idea!
And with the Holidays, we didn't want to discriminate, so we used every new tool possible!
The latest Chat GPT for script ideas, Google Imagen to create the look of OG Santa-Nator and then Veo 2 to animate for lipsync later. Then, we screen-captured and used it as a character ref in Midjourney to create variations before bringing it into Sora (img to vid) to create some dynamic sequences, including the badass sleigh scenes.
Runway Gen 3 Act One came in clutch for the lipsync and Udio for the fantastic soundtrack.
Remember, it's not just about which tool you use but how you use them.

Used Grok + ChatGPT as my creative partners to make The Datsun Massacre — an 80s slasher about a killer Datsun made with AI. 🚗💀
How I used LLMs to make this ridiculous 80s slasher trailer:
Idea Jamming: Threw “killer 1982 Datsun” into Grok + ChatGPT, iterated until we had the tone.
Trailer VO Script: Had ChatGPT iterate on my over-the-top campy 80s-style narration line by line, complete with grindhouse taglines.
Shot List Creation: Broke the script into a scene-by-scene and shot-by-shot breakdown for easy AI generation.
Prompt Engineering: Used Grok and ChatGPT to turn each shot into detailed Midjourney image prompts and Veo/Runway text-to-video prompts.
Style Lock: Tuned the prompts into YAML prompts to match the VHS grain, retro lighting, and cheesy ad layouts of the early 80s.
