This is "People of The Black" - a Conan story based on the 1934 short story.

I always wanted to reimagine a more horror/thriller-focused Conan story and incorporate some of his upbringing with his father. Since it's my son's birthday today, I thought about this idea. This story focuses on an ancient curse he must overcome.

I brought it to life through images with Flux and Midjourney. Grok 2.0 was used to prompt ideas right here on X.

Remaking a Movie Trailer (Gladiator Example)
For this tutorial, I'm using the Gladiator movie trailer as an example. Since Runway only allows 10-second clips, I used CapCut to split the trailer into smaller segments. After uploading a portion of the trailer, I applied a cinematic style prompt to give it that epic, dramatic feel.

After another round of processing, it’s time for the big reveal! And let me tell you—the results are stunning. The AI has managed to capture the grandeur and intensity of the original Gladiator trailer, while giving it a fresh new cinematic style. It's almost like stepping into a parallel universe where the movie was remade with a different artistic lens!

My first serious attempt at creating an audiovisual narrative using AI tools. It is far from something final and of good quality, but it emerged from experimentation in workshops that we are doing together with other artists interested in this technology.

Watch the teaser trailer for "Battalion," my longest and most ambitious Gen AI short to date.

This film follows the story of one of the surviving soldiers from the 320th Barrage Balloon Battalion, the only unit to storm the beach during D'Day composed entirely of African American soldiers.

One of my favorite films, Saving Private Ryan, showed the D'Day battle in Normandy, but as you may recall, there weren't any African American soldiers featured in that battle scene.

The power of Gen AI lets me explore that story that is hardly told. My grandfather was a solder who served in France during WW2, so I feel compelled to tell this story. I'm taking my time with this one and giving it the justice it deserves.
